Under the glass roof of the Grand Palais, with a large black ribbon outlining the perimeter of the runway (designed by Willo Perron), the CHANEL Fall/Winter 2025-26 Ready-to-Wear show welcomed its guests, presenting a striking play on proportions in its iconic venue.

A show rich in detail, directed by the Creation Studio, ahead of Matthieu Blazy’s highly anticipated debut. The collection explores contrasts, from the interplay of textures—juxtaposing structured tweed with the lightness of mesh—to the very construction of the garments, such as mini jackets paired with extra-long trousers.

Of course, the Maison’s signature elements—bows, pearls, and flowers—take center stage, expressed with drama and maximalism on collars, cuffs, and skirts. The accessories play with scale, and my favorite? Bags designed to resemble oversized necklaces.

The trompe l’oeil effect came to life through three-piece tweed sets in vibrant tones, wrap skirts over flared trousers, and ethereal mesh capes in black or white, floating over structured tailoring in champagne and ivory hues. Chiffon jeans, silk designed to mimic tweed, and black organza parkas adorned with bows add an airy sophistication.

A balanced collection that offers an elegant yet avant-garde universe, where CHANEL preserves its classic heritage while pushing the boundaries of creativity and refinement.
