Honoring one's roots is a theme every brand explores. Egonlab's most loyal followers, through social media, have witnessed the support that Marie-Louise and René Glémarec have provided as the foundation for the brand of designers Florentine Glémarec and Kévin Nompeix. At this Spring/Summer 2026 Men's Fashion Week, they present a tribute to them, from their artisanal nature to the eternal quality of their love.
“In-Memoriam” is the name of this collection, comprising 34 looks. In this journey through their grandparents' heritage, we begin with the craftsmanship of their hometown, Pont-l’Abbé in Brittany, translated into beautiful monochromatic appliqués with intricate hand-stitched details. The garments maintain sober tones to highlight the history contained within the details, making them the focal point.
And while this journey also encompasses folklore and music, the devil in Egonlab's details is accompanied by their characteristic way of approaching styling and the anti-gravitational proportions of their sartorial collars. In an almost imperceptible way, they take us on a trip through 1950s France, but maintain the bold and impressive touch that defines them.
The undersize tailoring and picturesque details on sleeves and pant cuts are al dente, balanced with neutral tones and chrome-colored waist belts. Hoodies with extended hoods reaching the arms and the presence of a single orange and black check print make this collection the highlight of the second day at this Fashion Week, proving that Egonlab has a very clear vision and personality, even when referencing a specific era.
In this memorial to love and family legacy, Egonlab has a clear stance on fashion. They continue to maintain their roots and adorn them with romanticism, eyelets, and a bold touch of modernity.
