A math teacher, an aspiring model, or a business executive... Chance encounters happen in train terminals where stories intersect and new narratives are created. For Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2025-26, Nicolas Ghesquière, creative director of Louis Vuitton, elevates reality in a Parisian station.

For Ghesquière, it's important to tell stories that feel close to the viewer. That's why the set for this collection was a waiting room where hurried models are about to depart for their destinations, some dressed in a rush, without coordination, and others in total avant-garde style.

Following the trend of recent fashion weeks, styling was key for Louis Vuitton. Pieces that work separately and enhance each other when combined. We found cozy sweaters, sheer coats, bohemian skirts, puffer vests, and a standout graphic jumpsuit, a garment we've seen very rarely this week.

Each garment represents a lifestyle as diverse as humanity and its occupations. The collection feels comfortable and attainable, it feels real and in line with the trends towards oversized cuts and combinations with layered tulle skirts, as well as the balance of earth tones and the inclusion of crimson and green as complementary shades.

The closeness to reality that Louis Vuitton transported us to stands out, a discreet approach that shines amidst the constant risks and sheer fabrics shown in other collections. Even writing about it feels comforting to me.
