No matter how you look at it, Nadège Vanhée has turned Hermès into the quintessential house of discreet luxury, almost synonymous with the term itself. And for the Fall/Winter 2025-26 collection, the brand once again invites us into its realm, where confident femininity is displayed in motion.

Undoubtedly, leather shorts and coats were two of the most standout elements of this collection. The rule on this runway was to show skin and at the same time cover it, as if summer and winter found a middle ground where their wardrobes shake hands.

The earthy colors that often trend at Hermès were overtaken by the use of black and dark brown: showcased in skirts, padded vests, high boots and lightly shimmering tights, fingerless leather gloves, trousers, and pieces that played with the contrast of leather and fur.

Within this ready-to-wear collection, there is a clear inspiration from menswear and tailoring, adding to the women's wardrobe the necessary garments for any taste and occasion. “She has everything she needs” is the phrase with which Hermès branded this collection. Indeed, this offering includes the timeless basics and classics that any fashion enthusiast could ask for.

In this leather paradise, however, we could also see pieces in denim, for a casual look, in cashmere, if cozy fashion is your thing, and even in felt, which usually receives more love in other areas of the brand's design; Nadège gifted us a very entertaining combination of materials that catch the eye and keep you analyzing the layering for several minutes.

The always appreciated nods to equestrian sports came with an elegance typical of off-duty models, and also, with some much clearer homages to Western culture, as we could see in the brilliant green construction of look 47 (a color that is appreciated on leather).

Fitted pieces were combined with fluid volumes in a dialogue of freedom and exaltation of the figure, of a reserved sensuality. "You can see my leg, yes, but the rest you'll have to imagine." After all, fashion is a game of power where, with Hermès, you hold the winning cards.

The woman Hermès presented on this runway doesn't have time for her surroundings; she knows and defines herself, and does the same with her goals. She is always moving forward, an idea reinforced by the swift pace of the models on the runway.
