ACNE STUDIOS FOR MFW25: THE MANY FACES OF MAN

Acne Studios, Léopold Duchemin

You've probably heard of Acne Studios. You’ve seen it on your favorite K-pop stars, in the most relevant editorials, and you're probably wondering why it's so relevant. Their new collection for Paris Fashion Week might be the answer to that question.

Rooted in rebellion, the brand maintains innovation and risk in this season with the premise of showing all facets of a man with a complete mastery of styling, thanks to Léopold Duchemin.

Garment interventions paint fake plastic chains on denim pants and play with the lengths and dimensions of sweatshirts to juxtapose rebellion and tenderness, along with the trend of hanging your favorite stuffed animals and keychains on your bag, successfully introducing their new "Camero" bag.

Continuing this evolution, they solve the search for identity with torn short garments and messages like "Everyone is Loved," to symbolize the adolescent spirit that, over time, grows into archetypal garments that aim to explore the different occupations of a man: shirt and tie for the office, off-duty vests and multifunctional bags, styled with tops, some oversized and others cropped.

In a collection full of statement pieces, there's of course an emblem. Jeans with a denim print depict chaps, a giant buckle, and the beginning of cowboy boots, and the new engraved belts will be images you're sure to see for several weeks.

The future is risk and the risk is in the unexpected combinations: a suit and underwear, an oversized vest with 5 bags, and denim that looks like everyday teenage wear. Acne Studios is back and we couldn't be happier.
