LGN Louis Gabriel Nouchi has worked tirelessly to carve out his place in the fashion world, and today, on the second day of Paris Men’s Fashion Week, the 2023 ANDAM Prize winner proved why the spotlight is always on him.

Renowned for his literary references, which add an extra layer of storytelling to his collections, Nouchi turned to George Orwell’s dystopian masterpiece 1984 to shape his Fall/Winter 2025-26 collection. In three words shared with Hero Magazine, the designer described the collection as “aggressive, corporeal, and sexy”—a strikingly concise summary of the 41 looks presented.

While LGN’s color palette may lean toward the repetitive, it is undeniably timeless: black, gray, olive green, and little else. Yet, when a collection boasts consistency and a clear concept, there’s no need for a rainbow on the runway to leave an impression.

“Risk” is a defining term in Louis Gabriel’s approach to fashion. This season, he challenged himself and his team by incorporating fabrics they had never worked with before, such as velvet and blue denim that transitions seamlessly from casual dinner to professional meeting.

On the runway, Nouchi explored new depths by showing more skin. Through exaggerated necklines, unconventional placements of zippers, sheer fabrics, and deconstructed classic silhouettes, he integrated the human body into his designs with a sensuality that redefines the traditionally “closed” concept of formality. Elegance can also be bold, playful, and subtly provocative.

Amid leather, knitwear, fur, and viscose, LGN crafted an aesthetic he described as raw, violent in its finer details. Accessories like gloves, bags, and studded shoes with angular spikes, along with straight-edged footwear and dramatic black eyeliner, completed the looks.

Louis Gabriel Nouchi’s Fall/Winter 2025-26 collection feels like a postcard from the pages of 1990s magazines, translating the energy of machines, engineering, femme fatales, and shattered archetypes into contemporary menswear and womenswear.
