Since I was a child, I’ve always dreamt in images and created stories in my head, often featuring mysterious situations. Creation is essential for humans; we can’t experience that feeling in any other way. Dreaming is a form of creation, and I’ve never stopped dreaming. This first book is the most significant proof of that. 

I’ve always believed that fashion is art. My university thesis focused on this idea, and the ability to create an ecosystem where an artist like Frida can coexist with a brand like Bottega Veneta was truly an amazing experience. 

The purpose of this magazine was to provide people with a specific vision something to enjoy, to inspire them, and to remind them that the world can be saved through beauty—a word that is continually redefining itself.

I want to express my gratitude to Bottega Veneta, Frida Escobedo, and my incredible team at The Walk. I’d also like to extend a special acknowledgment to my sister, Sira Pevida, who is not only the Co-Editor but also the founder of this magazine, of this adventure.
