IN THE NEST OF ROMANTICISM: ASHI STUDIO COUTURE FW26

Ashi Studio

Ashi Studio opens the gates to its palace; this time, the view is an open-air dance floor in the middle of wild nature. The surreal elegance and the story-enhancing embellishments transform the characters of this collection into a romantic, showstopping moment. In this Autumn/Winter 2026 Haute Couture Week, we will take a moment to dream.

The sculptural method using resin and porcelain-like materials is already a hallmark of Ashi Studio’s laboratory, and on this occasion, it manifested in the form of antiquities: from porcelain dolls to marble shaped into corsets. The female silhouette matters more than ever and is handled with Victorian grace, accompanied by ruffles, lace appliqués, and distressed details—always driven by direction.

This collection, straight out of a period novel, feels loaded with representative and cliché references that work perfectly alongside the choice of fabrics: lace, velvet, silk, and satin with interventions and texturing in organic finishes. Here, the atmosphere does not merely contextualize the ensemble; it elevates it.

For Ashi, every time you dress, you portray a character. In this collection titled “A Different Skin,” the layers of what you wear and what lies beneath are revealed, allowing one to “play” with these personalities in a period ball. In this moment, the maison opens up a world akin to method acting, where you can adopt any historical moment and clothe yourself in it, always guided by their architectural mastery and their incredible sense of couturier coherence.
