ZEGNA OPENS THE DOORS TO ITS HISTORY IN FALL 2026

Alessandro Sartori

We open Men’s Fashion Week Fall 2026 with Zegna and its collection “A Family Closet.” Everything begins with a memory: garments carefully stored in a trunk, pieces passed down from generation to generation that speak not only of family history, but also invite new ways of wearing and understanding them.

Alessandro Sartori’s work reveals a vision of contemporary nostalgia. A construction based on layering, with an atemporal presence, conceived to create garments that remain objects of value—meant to be preserved and to evolve. A responsible and elegant gaze that respects Zegna’s sartorial vision.

The collection’s textile excellence and rich earth tones appear in relaxed cuts grounded in tailoring. Long coats crafted in cashmere and wool, velvet finishes layered over knitwear sweaters, and leather jackets are styled with boxy-cut trousers. For Zegna, the man of 2026 is relaxed, elegant, and conscious of his surroundings and of time itself.

A touch of leather never goes amiss. For accessories, Sartori opted for bags, scarves, and ties that elevate the season’s layering to another level. The result is a modern yet timeless presentation—a dialogue of terracotta tones and patterns defined by the textiles themselves. Does it remind you of a family closet? Perhaps it simply needs to be seen with new eyes and, like Zegna, given a renewed life and vision.
