As a fellow Central Saint Martins alum, he chose the perfect film—one whose heroine and silhouettes embodied the tension between restriction and freedom, culminating in a woman both powerful and resolute.

With the return of Y2K’s defining garment, the ultra-low-waisted jeans and the iconic bumster reappear, now reimagined with side zippers and paired with corsets that evoke sensuality through unexpected cuts: casual cargo shortsand precisely tailored pencil skirts extending into hip-revealing tops, crafted to make heads turn.

McGirr understands the new generation and how they want to feel in their bodies. Through McQueen, he explores sophistication and sensuality in a perfectly balanced, jaw-dropping dialogue where every stitch has purpose—even in optical illusion fringe dresses whose cuts reveal the body while covering it in brushstroke-like layers, like painted blinds.
