To celebrate the talent and ingenuity of Mexican designers, Levi’s invited 13 creative minds to join a capsule collection called Denim Reimaginado, with proposals that reinterpret the brand’s iconic fabric. An innovative vision that, combined with upcycling techniques, gives denim a new life.
Names such as Alejandra de Coss, Boyfriend's Shirt, NoName, Caballería, Olmos y Flores, Iván Ávalos, Montserrat Messenger, Alexia Ulibarri, Nugget, Eliana Studio, Ricardo Beristain, Estudio 1999, and Zurce bring their authentic vision through designs rich in shapes, layers, and silhouettes— as diverse as Mexico itself.
The purpose of this project is to highlight Levi’s vision: each garment is a blank canvas, ready to become entirely yours through personalization. Every pair of jeans, jacket, or denim vest opens new possibilities that endure even after use.
Beyond dressing a generation, Levi’s celebrates individual identity and supports both emerging and established designers through inclusion, celebration, and the exaltation of their reimaginings. It does so in a natural way that invites the spectator to become part of this universe.
So we invite you to take your favorite pieces and create the unimaginable—just as these 13 designers did with their authentic interpretations, now on view at the Madero flagship in the heart of Mexico City. If you go, share every detail with us at @thewalk.com.mx.
