Do you like commercial garments? Do you feel that fashion lacks fun? Do you enjoy cohesive and conceptual collections? If the answer to at least two of these three questions is yes, then Doublet is for you. In its showing at Men's Fashion Week Spring 2026, and under the phrase "itadakimasu" (thank you for the food!), this collection is inspired by the gratitude of having something on the table, from agriculture to the stomach.

The runway's setting featured the agricultural landscapes of the farm "Le Paysan Urbain," known for its responsible practices. Within the moodboard of Ino, Doublet's creative director, the common thread is the relationship between agriculture and clothing, derived from resource reuse techniques like transforming fishing nets into thread.

Too philosophical? Here comes the Doublet-esque touch. We know the brand loves fun and a grunge touch in its garments, so plush heads are back, now in hoodie form, along with patches and prints like the quality stamps found on bananas. Not to mention the touches of soil on edges and moss, "replanting" farmers' clothes after their daily tasks.

Doublet finds the middle ground between concept, fun, and technique that points towards haute couture. It's a collection that serves as a tribute to the people who bring bread to our table. A delight. Itadakimasu!
