Three techniques were unveiled before our eyes: patine and glaçage (for that rich, three-dimensional shine straight out of an oil painting), and the artisan embroidery from Maison Lesage, transforming butterflies into wearable jewels. Each hand-embroidered butterfly adorns the Farfajoury Farfanuit shoes, layered with organza, sequins, and crystals—a level of detail that makes you want to display them in a glass case.

Salon Two: When the Dandy Comes to Life

Next stop, the Salon des Aigles, where four dancers brought “24 hours in the life of a dandy” to the stage. Through choreography, style, and presence, they embodied standout pieces like the equestrian-inspired Lord Chamb boots, the O Louvre loafers with moiré grosgrain bands, and the scene-stealing Circus Booty Perla, which looks like it walked straight out of a futuristic cabaret—suede, pearls, crystals, and all. Flanking the stage, the Vitrines l’Éclaté offered a visual dissection of the craftsmanship behind these designs.

Finally, the romantic Salon Marie-Antoinette (yes, where legend says the queen took piano lessons). Here, the Chambeliss line took center stage, featuring silhouettes ranging from classic derbies to boots with nighttime sparkle. All share one unique detail: the Chambelink, a metal pin inspired by the traditional shirt collar pin, also offered as a standalone accessory. Hand-set with crystals, it’s a subtle yet striking jewel-like touch.
