With the integration of Alessandro Michele as creative director, and his second collection at the luxury and elegant fashion house, Valentino, the world's eye is on the iconic red maison. At this Fall/Winter 2025-26 Fashion Week, the designer showed us what he does best: himself, a kitsch vision rich in embroidered details, a combination of textures, textiles, and organized ideas. We found a bit of order in the chaos.

Lana del Rey's "Gods & Monsters" began to play in what seems like the most exclusive (and most commonly found) bathroom in Paris. Upholstered in 360 degrees of red, the show began. Le Meta Théâtre des Intimités, the name of this collection, takes place in a timeless space that exposes intimacy, revealing the true self.

The nude tone and anatomy of the garment, as well as the sections where the models' bodies are revealed, are the most important points of the collection. Each bare fragment is a discovery of Michele. His taste for cats, grandma chic style, and the special way of creating volumes with tulle in dresses are the coherent elements within his integration into the firm.

This collection serves as a bridge to understand the new era of Valentino. Each piece separately, although it has a contrasting (and at the same time, hypnotic) styling in tones and textures, has an edgy air. Garments that, separately, speak more of Michele, but, as a whole, are unapologetically Valentino.
