MOONSWATCH CELEBRATES OMEGA'S SPEEDMASTER AND ITS LEGACY

This month, MOONSWATCH released a new model, the 1965, to honor the 60th anniversary of OMEGA's Speedmaster certification for space flights. The Speedmaster stood out in 1965 as the only watch to pass NASA's tests, designed to ensure it could operate under the extreme conditions of space. The MOONSWATCH 1965 retains the aesthetic of the original model with its Bioceramic case and the period-correct OMEGA logo, featuring a white dial and hands coated with Super-LumiNova® for visibility in the dark.

The new design features dials that display the numbers 19 and 65, reflecting the year of certification. These additions not only enhance the aesthetic but also celebrate OMEGA's enduring relationship with space exploration. The watch will be available from March 1, 2025, exclusively at selected Swatch stores, limiting purchases to one watch per person to maintain its exclusivity.

This launch commemorates a historical milestone and celebrates the spirit of adventure and precision that continues to inspire both OMEGA and its enthusiasts.
