INGREDIENTES NATURALES QUE TIENES QUE INCLUIR EN TU RUTINA DE SKIN CARE
Alejandro Acero
If you’re thinking about taking better care of your skin without relying on a ton of chemicals, I think today might change your life. Let’s talk about some ingredients to look for in your products to create a skincare routine as natural as possible. I’m not saying I’m a hippie (though, shoutout to the hippies), but I’ve personally noticed the difference—starting with how gentle these ingredients are on my skin and hair.
Here are some of my favorites:
Honey
Super hydrating and packed with antibacterial properties, honey helps soften and heal the skin. I know it sounds weird to think, “honey in my hair,” but products with honey help retain moisture and give a natural shine. Obviously, you wouldn’t use it straight out of the hive.
Aloe Vera
If you’re looking for an ingredient loaded with vitamins and antioxidants, aloe vera is perfect for soothing and hydrating the skin. Whether it’s sunburn or those annoying breakouts that appear at the worst moment, aloe is a lifesaver. I use it after shaving to calm redness, irritation, and that post-shave sting. It also helps reduce dandruff (if you’ve got “that issue”) and adds shine to your hair.
Coconut Oil
My absolute favorite for hair. Coconut oil reduces frizz and helps prevent protein loss in your hair. Using it once a month, from the mid-lengths to the ends, is more than enough.
Avocado
Packed with fatty acids and vitamins, avocado deeply nourishes the skin and protects it from environmental damage. For hair, it provides hydration and improves elasticity.
One more thing I love about using natural products is that you’re also helping the planet—these products tend to be more sustainable. You feel me?
