VICTORIA'S SECRET FASHION SHOW: WHERE FLYING TAKES THE BACKSEAT

Yesterday, October 15th, marked the grand return of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. After a chapter shrouded in controversy, the show made a comeback with a star-studded lineup of winged wonders including Tyra Banks, Gigi and Bella Hadid, Adriana Lima, Carla Bruni, and more.

In an effort to reaffirm its presence in the lingerie market and maintain its status as a brand where the main event is nothing short of a social spectacle, we were presented with a fashion show where fashion and styling took a backseat to the main attraction: the angels' wings.

That's why we've decided to count down the most iconic wings for their sheer impracticality and lack of harmony with the runway (and the models' backs):

  1. Rianne Van Rompaey: The more we look, the less we want to see
  2. Joan Smalls: The pain of carrying an entire fashion show on her back
  3. Alex Consani: A ready-to-sleep angel
  4. Gigi Hadid: The perfect proof that gravity exists
  5. Vittoria Ceretti: If you have to hold up your wings, you probably can't fly

We thank Victoria's Secret for a show filled with legends and inclusivity. We look forward to a future filled with creativity and a love for femininity as the main driving force. Welcome back, we missed you!
